No Complaints!

I have no complaints when I am a human snowmobile for my Grandsons to ride on! :)

I read the FeedBlitz from Joe Vitale, http://blog.mrfire.com/ , this morning and new it was something that I wanted to share with all of you.

The reason being is because in November I challenged my massage therapy students at http://www.cmsmt.com/ to go 30 days without complaining. Yes, I took the challenge myself also.

At first I found it easy; however, as time went on, there was always something to complain about, if only in my own mind, especially around the Holidays when inundated with family and a kazillion things to do, you know what I mean???

Ok, so then I realized and experienced that when I was frustrated, when I could get my mind to calm down and think about the moment at hand, that usually there was not that much to complain about, if anything at all. This brought about more happiness, which is a beautiful thing.

So, upon reading this mornings FeedBlitz from Joe Vitale, and realizing there are some strong statements in it about non complaining, including a quote from Oprah, this is a very insightful message my friends and I hope it will change your thought process as it has mine.

Happy reading & I will share more next week!

Dr. Joe Vitale writes:

I just interviewed Will Bowen, author of the best book of 2007, A Complaint Free World, for my Hypnotic Gold members.

The interview was fantastic, as I expected it to be, but the ending really blew me away.
That’s when I spontaneously asked Will what Oprah had to say about him, his book, and his movement.

He then told me the most amazing thing:
“Between takes Oprah leaned over to me and said, ‘I have nothing to complain about’.
“At first I thought she meant she had nothing to complain about because she’s Oprah and life is good.
“But we talked and I learned that her life is so great because she doesn’t complain to begin with. She always focuses on what she wants. Her not complaining created the Oprah we see.”

I love this story.

I love how it illustrates that you don’t get to a place of comfort and then stop complaining; you instead stop complaining right now and from here notice, create, and attract your comfort.
Most of us want to get there and then start.

It’s similar to people who want to get rich before they start giving money away.

That’s not how the universe seems to work.

You don’t wait.
You start now.
Start focusing on what you want and only on what you want.
Start giving money away and continue to give money away.

It sure works for Oprah.
And Will.
And me.
